What You’ll Be Doing: Ensure product quality meets customer requirements and expectations Lead problem-solving initiatives and guide teams in root cause analysis Manage non-conforming materials and determine disposition actions Develop and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships Initiate and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Analyze statistical data and monitor quality performance using SPC Support scrap reduction and cost improvement initiatives Train staff on inspection standards, tools, and quality processes Support new product launches, including PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and control plans Assist production teams by resolving quality issues and improving processes What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and quality assurance best practices Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Bonus Points If You Have: Advanced degree in Engineering or related field Powder Metallurgy Technologist (PMT) Certification or willingness to obtain it Experience with automotive or high-precision manufacturing environments Experience with error-proofing techniques and quality system implementation How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com – We can’t wait to meet you!
