What You’ll Be Doing: Assist with the setup, operation, and monitoring of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Learn troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve machine, process, and quality issues under supervision. Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain accurate production and maintenance records. Support preventive maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work environment. What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED. Enrollment in, or willingness to enroll in, the TCAT Injection Molding Technician Program. Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic math, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Training & Career Development This apprenticeship combines classroom instruction through TCAT with hands-on training at Johnson Electric. Apprentices will gain experience in: Injection molding fundamentals Machine setup and operation Safety and quality standards Basic troubleshooting and maintenance Manufacturing best practices Successful completion of the apprenticeship program may lead to a full-time Injection Molding Technician position with opportunities for career growth within Johnson Electric.
