Essential Job Functions
- Reviews admissions applications, renders admissions decisions, monitors workflow of evaluation of academic credentials and determines scholarship eligibility
- Communicates enrollment information to prospective students
- Maintains student information in student information databases (e.g. student information system, SEVIS)
- Coordinates various on-campus and virtual admissions events to support enrollment goals
- Represents the university in various recruiting activities, such as attendance at conferences, fairs, events and telemarketing, both internal and external, to assist in the recruitment of new students
- Assists in preparing and monitoring department budget
- Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Experience working in international recruitment or other related experience
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work empathetically with foreign national students and parents/guardians
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study
- Familiarity with Slate
