Spanish Instructor
The School of Arts and Sciences invites applications for an adjunct instructor teaching two Spanish language courses each term on the Tennessee Campus. This is a half-time position with pay of $25,000. Applicants should submit the following:

- Curriculum Vitae
- Responses to the School of Arts and Sciences essay prompts (below). Each essay should be approximately 250-500 words.
- Describe your personal faith and Christian experience, including what you consider to be the most significant implications of your faith commitments?
- State your understanding of the relationship of biblical perspectives and faith commitments to your scholarly discipline.
- Provide a statement of your teaching philosophy, and how it relates to instruction in the undergraduate liberal arts core of a Christ-centered university.
Documents Required for Semi-finalist Candidates:
- Official Transcripts
- 3 Professional References, including complete contact information and statement of relationship to candidate.
- Evidence of experience and excellence in teaching. (Student evaluations, letter of recommendation, etc.)
- A signed Statement of Faith and community covenant.
General Job Description:
- Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course material.
- Provide timely feedback/ grades to students and University Registrar.
- Maintain regular office hours.
Knowledge and Skills Requirement
- A Christian faith and support for Johnson University’s mission and values.
- M.A. in Spanish, or related field
