Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management and food service, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Chef will oversee food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and manage kitchen staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Plan and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety practices.
  • Coordinate catering services for events, including banquets and fine dining experiences.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs of guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience in catering services, including planning and executing large-scale events.
  • Ability to create diverse menus for various dining experiences, from casual to fine dining.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, suppliers, and guests.
  • A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
