What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofing Project Manager position at Johnson Roofing?
· Coordinate project " activities to attain successful goals on all projects by focusing attention to on time and in budget project completion.
· Assist in winning profitable repeat business, by cultivating customer relationships during management of projects.
· On site management of assigned projects including coordination/supervision of subcontractors.
· Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects.
· Assist in assignment of Foreman to projects.
· Motivate foreman and crews to accomplish production goals.
· Monitor roofing crew for adherence to safety program.
· Advise Executive Vice President of “Subsistence” requirements on all out-of-town projects in a timely manner.
· Work with VP of Operations to implement and maintain scheduling system to insure optimal utilization of resources.
· Coordinate with Executive Vice President to oversee maintenance of equipment.
· Overall coordination of equipment/crew schedule with project Foreman.
· Overall responsibility for Quality Control of projects.
· Be effective in reading Plans/Specs for new/re-roof projects.
· Participate in pre-job meetings with handoff from estimating to Operations on assigned projects.
· Review Purchase Orders prepared by Contract Administrator.
· Participate in Pre-Construction Meetings.
· Maintain communication with project contacts regarding scheduling.
· Ensure inventory of materials received at project site. Submit “receivers” to Contract Administrator.
· Advise Estimating of Extra Work/Change Orders for pricing.
· Complete “In-house” Punch list.
· Coordinate Final Inspections with Customer/Manufacturer and advise Estimating of completion.
· Assist Estimating, on an as needed basis, on job walks, and small service projects.
