Funeral Director/Embalmer

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide professional and empathetic support to families during their most difficult times, ensuring that every detail of the funeral process is handled with care and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of funeral and memorial services
• Prepare the deceased for viewing, including embalming, dressing, and cosmetology
• Oversee service logistics such as transportation, visitation schedules, and cemetery arrangements
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Provide guidance and support to grieving families with sensitivity and discretion

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professionalism and emotional resilience
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and extended standing
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for proper handling and preparation of remains
• Valid certification or licensure in funeral directing (preferred)
• Experience or proficiency in post-mortem cosmetology is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Funeral directing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Funeral Director License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Saint Paul, MN 55107 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Paul, MN 55107: Relocate before starting work (Required)
