About the Internship
The Johnson Outdoors Summer Internship Program is a paid, hands‑on experience designed for college students and recent graduates ready to apply classroom learning to real business challenges.
📍 Location: Racine, WI (Lake Michigan views included)

What You’ll Do
As a Consumer Insights Intern, you’ll support projects that help Johnson Outdoors better understand our consumers and how they engage with outdoor experiences:
- Support consumer insights initiatives through data collection, analysis, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research
- Assist with gathering and organizing consumer, market, and competitive data to inform innovation and business decisions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Marketing, Innovation, Product, and Shared Services on insight‑driven projects
- Help translate research findings into clear summaries, presentations, and actionable recommendations
- Participate in innovation‑related projects, including concept exploration, trend analysis, and opportunity identification
- Support documentation, reporting, and presentation of insights to internal stakeholders
This role is ideal for someone who’s naturally curious, enjoys problem‑solving, and is excited about turning data into meaningful stories.
What We’re Looking For
- Current college student or recent graduate studying Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Strong curiosity and passion for learning about consumers, behavior, and markets
- Basic understanding of business, marketing, or innovation concepts
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to organize information and communicate insights clearly
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without employment‑based sponsorship
