About the Role
Johnson Law Group is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s most challenging transitions with professionalism, empathy, and excellence.
As part of our Operations team, you will manage your own caseload while receiving support from senior attorneys and firm leadership. You’ll deliver exceptional legal counsel and advocacy, embodying our core values of accountability, teamwork, quality, and achievement.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law litigation, including hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Develop and execute effective case strategies in high-stakes legal matters.
- Conduct consultations with potential clients, offering clear legal guidance and recommendations.
- Manage a diverse caseload with autonomy while collaborating with senior attorneys and partners.
- Oversee legal research, discovery, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation.
- Communicate consistently and transparently with clients, providing timely updates and strategy discussions.
- Mentor and collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure accuracy and high-quality case management.
- Participate in firm-wide meetings, case reviews, and strategic discussions.
Qualifications
- Active member of the Colorado Bar Association (required).
- Minimum of three years practicing family law in Colorado.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience (four to ten years related).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Clio Manage, Kennect, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Zoom, and Skype.
- Spanish proficiency preferred.
Work Location
Hybrid remote. While this role allows for remote work when not required in court or for in-office client meetings, candidates must reside in Colorado. The primary office is located in Commerce City, CO 80022.
