Key Responsibilities
Finance Agile Delivery Leadership
- Lead and orchestrate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) supporting Finance capabilities (A2R, P2P, I2C, Treasury)
- Facilitate all SAFe ceremonies, including:
- PI Planning
- Scrum of Scrums
- System Demos
- Inspect & Adapt sessions
- Align delivery execution with Finance business priorities, quarterly releases, and global rollout waves
- Manage end-to-end delivery across Finance systems, including:
- S/4HANA (CFIN)
- SAP BTP integrations
- DataHub / HANA / DataSphere
- Drive dependency management across squads, platforms, and vendors
- Identify, escalate, and resolve program risks, blockers, and critical path issues
- Ensure adherence to J&J SDLC and governance standards, including:
- Functional & Technical Design (FDS/TDS) reviews
- Code quality and transport governance
- Testing readiness (SIT, UAT, BST)
- Cutover planning and execution
- Partner with TS teams to ensure SOX-compliant, audit-ready delivery
- Enable the One FlexOps model, ensuring seamless integration between build and run
- Drive system stability and operational excellence, including:
- Reduction of P1/P2 incidents
- Improved MTTR and proactive monitoring
- Strong cutover and release quality
- Coordinate with Basis, SRE, and platform teams for environment readiness
- Drive adoption of AI-driven SDLC (SASA / agent-based delivery)
- Enable teams to leverage:
- Functional, Technical, and Developer AI agents
- Automated documentation, testing, and code generation
- Deliver measurable improvements in:
- Delivery speed (25–40% productivity gains)
- Quality and defect reduction
- Serve as the primary orchestration point across Business, BT, TS, and partners (e.g., Deloitte)
- Provide clear, data-driven program reporting to senior stakeholders (CIO, CFO, TS LT)
- Ensure alignment across global Finance transformation initiatives
- Lead Inspect & Adapt cycles to improve:
- Delivery predictability
- Agile maturity
- Engineering quality
- Leverage tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics dashboards for performance tracking
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance Systems, or related field
- 8 years of experience in technology delivery, program management, or agile leadership
- 3 years in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment, preferably as RTE, Scrum Master, or Program Lead
- Strong experience in Finance transformation programs (SAP S/4HANA, ERP, or similar)
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional enterprise delivery
- SAFe RTE certification or SAFe Program Consultant
- Experience with:
- S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN)
- Treasury (TMS), Transact, or Finance processes (A2R, P2P, I2C)
- SAP BTP and Data platforms (HANA, DataSphere)
- Exposure to AI-enabled SDLC / automation frameworks
- Experience in regulated environments (SOX, compliance-driven delivery)
