Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Garage Door Installer/Technician role based in Rochester, WA. The Garage Door Installer/Technician will install, service, and repair residential and commercial garage doors, door openers, tracks, springs, and related hardware. Daily tasks include inspecting door systems, diagnosing issues, performing adjustments, and completing preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves using hand and power tools, measuring and cutting materials, loading and unloading products, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The technician will drive to customer locations, communicate clearly about work performed, follow safety protocols, and complete all required documentation and service reports.
Qualifications
- Technical and mechanical aptitude, including ability to use hand and power tools safely and accurately.
- Experience or interest in installation, maintenance, or repair work, preferably in garage doors, construction, carpentry, or a similar trade.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and resolving mechanical or electrical issues.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain work and interact professionally with clients and team members.
