Key Responsibilities:
- Surpass territory sales targets through consultative selling, relationship building, and strategic prospecting
- Collaborate with the credit department to manage customer accounts and support collection efforts when needed
- Develop expertise in our products to provide valuable insights and recommendations to foodservice professionals
- Generate leads and referrals in the Central Illinois territory, covering areas such as, Peoria, Springfield, Bloomington, Decatur, and Champaign
- Deliver compelling presentations to current and potential clients
- Prepare and execute actional plans for managing multiple accounts and prospects
- Identify and pursue sales prospects, ensuring follow-up contracts
- Create persuasive presentation, proposals, and sales quotes
- Foster new client relationships and work towards expanding your customer base.
Requirements:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Eagerness to immerse yourself in the foodservice industry through continuous training
- Sound judgement and problem-solving abilities
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of staff, management, and customers
- Negotiation skills and a professional demeanor
- Basic business math skills (mark-up, commission, percentages)
