What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers, primarily Cummins, Detroit, and CAT engines.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Repair brakes, suspension systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with reefer units is a plus.
- Work closely with the shop foreman and service team to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of diesel mechanic experience (technical degree or certification is a plus).
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred, but not required).
- Experience using diagnostic software and reading engine fault codes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
