Johnson Equipment Sales & Service is growing in Farmington, NY — and we’re hiring a Trailer Technician to join our family-owned operation. Whether you’re experienced or just getting started, we’ll train you and set you up for success. This is an immediate opening.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical trailer issues
- Perform welding/fabrication (MIG/TIG/arc/gas)
- Repair doors, hinges, walls, skins, and flooring
- Replace mud flaps, hangers, mirrors, shocks
- Complete brake adjustments, linings, drums, cams, bushings
- Handle wheel alignments, balancing, and suspension work
- Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
What You Bring
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 years experience with 48/53' trailers (or certifications)
- Welding experience
- Basic tool set
- Valid driver’s license
- Brake certification (we can provide)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
