Position: Summer Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Johnson Elementary School, Nahant, MA
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday & Wednesday| 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Program Dates: July 13-August 6, 2026
Position Summary
Johnson Elementary School in Nahant is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in our summer program. The SLP will be responsible for providing speech and language services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as well as completing all required documentation and progress reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services as outlined in IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely service logs, session notes, and progress reports
- Complete all required documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with special education staff and related service providers
- Participate in team meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
