The Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring product availability, and supporting cross‑functional teams through data-driven forecasting and operational coordination. This role manages inventory performance, oversees forecasting processes, partners with Sales and Supplier teams, and ensures smooth inbound and outbound product flow.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor and mitigate inventory overselling and underselling situations.
- Identify and correct inventory biases and discrepancies.
- Manage overstocks and discontinued items, including communication and resolution.
- Track and report 180 day aged inventory and coordinate appropriate closeout actions.
- Oversee beer code management and compliance with date‑sensitive product requirements.
- Perform regular sales forecasting and demand planning using internal tools.
- Collaborate with Sales, KAMs, and other stakeholders to collect market intelligence and adjust forecasts.
- Manage new item forecasting and setup, including coordination with cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy through MAPE management and continuous improvement practices.
- Manage new item receiving notifications to ensure accurate and timely inbound planning.
- Coordinate freight logistics, scheduling, and communication with carriers.
- Administer the supplier claims process, documenting and resolving discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier and freight invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
- Ensure accurate item setup within systems, including attributes, categories, and replenishment parameters.
- Provide regular reporting on inventory health, forecasting accuracy, closeouts, and exceptions.
- Collaborate with IT/Systems teams to troubleshoot and improve planning tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or demand forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and planning systems (e.g., Logility, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
