The company began its operation in Michigan City and Fort Wayne as Indiana Wholesale Wine & Liquor. Today, our more than 200 team members provide our portfolio of world-class wines and spirits to retail stores, iconic restaurants, and world-class hotels throughout the Hoosier state. Our Warehouse Night Lead is responsible for planning work assignments and properly filling orders for customer’s accounts, ensuring that all items ordered are received. ** All night shifts are generally Monday - Thursday 6:00 p.m. to about 4:30 a.m., with Friday's off. Lead Duties: Load planning and cubing of orders Organize delivery paperwork. Productivity tracking and data entry Organizing work assignments Cover manager absence when needed Other Duties: Issue, receive, pick and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory. Maintain set work standards for picking orders. Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment. Loading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe manner. Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping. Reviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracy. Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned. Basic Requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years old Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to work independently, be self managed and motivated to meet deadlines Ability to pass the pre-employment screening: background check, drug test, and physical Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen; a criminal background check and a post-offer physical (if applicable).
