The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth has exciting summer employment opportunities for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Office Manager in our summer programs for academically advanced students. Location is on site in Santa Cruz, CA.
The office manager’s primary responsibility is to assist the site director in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the site’s main office. This includes a variety of clerical tasks, including:
- The coordination and record-keeping of financial expenditures.
- Being first point of contact for a variety of stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and the host institution.
- Being the central figure in creating the welcoming, organized, and professional office environment necessary for others to do their jobs successfully.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Supervisory Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Terms of Employment
- Starting salary is $5,961.18 for entire 7 week duration-- prorated for late start
- Location: UC Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, CA.
- Dates: Immediately - August 9th
