The Revenue Cycle Coordinator will be responsible for supporting management in maintaining, improving, processing, and evaluating the billing and collection of accounts receivable for the Health System and/or resolve complex payer issues to completion daily. This may encompass working the receivable of multiple facilities and will comprise of the receivable of multiple third-party payers, as well as, supporting management in the overall execution of Revenue Cycle collection duties. The Incumbent must have proven skills in all facets of Federal, State and Local regulations to be compliant with the day-to-day processes and changes required by payers.

Location: Remote
Our organization is registered for remote work in the following states: MD, VA, DC, FL, PA, and DE. To be considered for a remote position, relocation is required to one of the registered states if not currently residing in one.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in hospital billing and/or professional accounts receivable.
- Must have a background in insurance follow up
- Experience with Epic is a huge plus
- Demonstrate knowledge in billing and collection of at least one payer type’s billing practices, with an understanding of additional insurance payer type’s billing and collection practices including benefits eligibility, verification, and precertification.
- Requires knowledge of up-to-date HIPAA and HITECH rules and regulations.
Required Licensure Certification, etc.
Successful completion of trainings, certifications and/or assessments as required by supervisor and/or manager.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.59/hour - Maximum 30.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
