With more than half of our 259-bed teaching hospital dedicated to intensive care services, we serve as the regional pediatric referral center for Florida’s west coast. The Emergency Center at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital provides specialized, life-saving emergency care for children of all ages and is the only stand-alone Pediatric Trauma Center on Florida’s west coast. The 29-bed unit includes dedicated trauma and critical care rooms, Quick Kid rooms, a designated mental health safe room, and cares for approximately 45,000 patients annually.

Qualifications:

• BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire

• Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.

• A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, preferred 2 years of experience

• Experience in pediatric setting and/or Emergency Department preferred

• BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum 36.62/hour - Maximum 54.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
