The Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) is recruiting a part-time Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our nationally recognized team. We are seeking a physician for an opportunity in Sarasota, Florida, offering the opportunity to provide exceptional pediatric care while being part of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital system.
We are seeking a 0.5 FTE Pediatric Hospitalist to provide pediatric care in Sarasota, Florida. This opportunity offers the ability to practice within the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital network while providing both pediatric hospitalist and Newborn Nursery care.
Highlights Include:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric hospitalist care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of pediatric patients.
- Provide medical care and management for newborns in the Newborn Nursery.
- No attendance at deliveries is required for this position.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, pediatric hospitalists, advanced practice providers, nursing professionals, and support staff in a collegial and patient-centered environment.
- Access the broad network of pediatric subspecialty expertise available through Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
- Participate in a schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and call responsibilities as required by the Sarasota program.
Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Florida.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
