PATIENT ESCORT(Day Shifts)

A. Education:

Graduation from an accredited high school or a G.E.D. Certificate.

B. Knowledge:

Knowledge of customer service core competencies for the ability to deal directly with patients, their families, staff and JHM customers. Work constantly involves contact with patients and/or visitors which requires courtesy and caring behaviors.

C. Skills:

Work requires the skills to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make comparisons between numbers and letters. Ability to navigate directionally. Ability to read and write information regarding patient assignments and to confirm patient identification. Ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures. Ability to work independently. Ability to operate a handheld work iPhone device.

Experience

1 year of customer service experience required

D. Required Licensure, Certification

American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR Certification. No registration or licensure required.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.53/hour - Maximum 0.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
