POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Community Relations and Health Equity Integration oversees community relations, health equity integration and programs and volunteer services for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. The Director is responsible for leading and managing a team; engaging deeply with our diverse community; managing the JHACH community benefits and sponsorship programs; developing plans for JHACH community-based community health programs; data tracking and clinic alignment aimed at the prevention of health disparities, disease and promotion of health; and overseeing the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The Director oversees community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation, including Maternal and Child Health, Nutrition and Obesity, Behavioral Health, Health Care Access and Safety Programs. Additionally, the Director oversees Volunteer Services and its service to the hospital and JHAC system.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
- Experience: 10 years of progressively responsible related experience including 5 years of management experience.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences including development of peer-review articles.
- Ability to work independently, within a team, and to collaborate with staff at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and relationships.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data management applications.
