Clinical Laboratory Scientist III (Overnight or Evening Shift) (multiple openings)
Duties: Performs a variety of both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established standards and procedures. Prepares and determines suitability of solutions, reagents, products, and equipment. Presents work within expected timeframes; maintaining work at expected productivity levels and submits complete and accurate reports, test results or monitoring auto resulting, and logs. Runs pre-analytical instruments and performs processing. Works alongside others on analysis tasks. Verifies specimen identification, processes samples, performs special handling and packing/unpacking samples, ensures correct coding. Decontaminates and/or properly disposes of waste and sharps. Other duties as assigned, which may include serving as “charge” in the absence of Lead, Supervisor, or Manager and work as appointed on committees and project teams. Special assignment areas like Biocontainment unit, Tissue Bank, or other specific to area of skill.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Medical Lab Sciences, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a closely related field; alternatively, BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or categorical related field that included a clinical laboratory internship or clinical rotations. Two years of direct clinical laboratory experience. Certification as a Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or another comparable nationally recognized professional organization.
Salary: $32.40-$53.48 per hour

Salary Range: Minimum 32.40/hour - Maximum 53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
