Join our exceptional team of healthcare professionals on Nelson 5, the Medical Progressive Care Unit, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. This is a 21-bed high acuity step-down unit, caring for critically ill adult medical patients. Patient population includes those with complex organ disease, requiring mechanical ventilation, vasoactive drips, and continuous monitoring. Who Should Apply:
- BSN required
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
- BLS CPR certification required
- RN work experience required. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of acute care RN work experience, including 3 years with leadership and/or supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to lead others, communicate effectively, problem solve, motivate others, promote cost-effective use of resources, and apply principles of evidence-based practice.
