POSITION SUMMARY:
Under guidance from Foundation leadership and/or more Sr. Officers, develop and implement strategies for creating effective relationships with prospects and donors. Responsible, as assigned, for prospect identification and solicitation, proposal development, and coordination of support activities (e.g. mailings, events, etc.). Entry level professional fundraiser.
Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Work Hours: 8:30a-5p with after hours and weekend events
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of two (2) years in event planning, fundraising, communications or related experience
- Must have knowledge and experience in using Microsoft products
- Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, confidentiality and public speaking skills
- Must have own transportation (to travel to events)
