What are the responsibilities and job description for the DISTRIBUTION CLERK position at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center?
The Distribution Clerk performs inventories, issues equipment, materials, supplies, performs data entry, and general warehouse housekeeping duties.
- On a daily basis performs inventories of various nursing unit supply rooms
- Utilizing computer generated pick list, pulls stock and delivers to supply rooms and nurse server
- Handles medications stocked in General Stores including, but not limited to, IV solutions for the purpose of inventory control, receiving and distribution.
- Responsible for general upkeep/maintenance of assigned Patient Care Unit supply rooms
- Performs weekly inventory of all assigned Patient Care Unit supply rooms inventory through the PAR-Excellence system
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position
- One (1) year experience in a customer service, warehouse, or materials management department environment
Hours:
- Full Time, 40hr per week
- Days, 6a - 2:30p
Salary Range: Minimum 16.45/hour - Maximum 19.01/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
