Position Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and appropriately directing patients/visitors/guests while treating medical center staff, visitors, physicians, patients, and families in a professional and courteous manner. Consistently displays a positive attitude in the work environment and conducts self in a calm, professional manner during stressful situations.
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Performs other duties.
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Competencies
- Education: High school diploma.
- Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work Experience: 0-2 years of experience required.
