What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant (+1year preferred) position at Johns Creek Family and Cosmetic Dentistry?
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our friendly, patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate is confident assisting with restorative and crown and bridge procedures, has experience with digital radiography and dental software, and works well in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
· Experience with cord packing, crown and bridge procedures, and seating temporary and permanent crowns. Experience in cord packing, crown, bridge assistance.
· Digital X-ray experience.
· Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols (OSHA & HIPPA compliant).
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
· Set up and break down operatories to ensure efficient patient flow.
· Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Present treatment information when needed
· Help maintain efficient patient flow while delivering exceptional patient care.
