Handyman/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Maintenance Person/Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and general labor tasks across different projects. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with electrical tools and basic troubleshooting is preferred, with familiarity using an ohmmeter being a plus. Responsibilities

• Conduct general repairs and maintenance around residential or commercial properties
• Assist with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as needed
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter
• Perform minor installations or adjustments to fixtures and appliances
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
• Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or concerns immediately

Experience

• Prior experience in maintenance person services, construction, or general labor preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is advantageous
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing is a plus
• Ability to read technical diagrams or instructions is beneficial
• Strong work ethic, dependable, with good communication skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $25.50 per hour
