Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and cashiers to ensure smooth service flow
• Train new team members in food handling, customer service protocols, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and food safety procedures
• Manage shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high standards of hospitality and efficiency
• Oversee customer interactions to resolve complaints promptly and ensure a positive dining experience
• Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, including POS terminals, menus, and service ware
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform cash handling duties during shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food presentation, timing, and quality assurance for both casual dining and fine dining experiences
• Scheduling front of house staff members

Skills

• Proven management experience in high volume full service restaurant environments with a focus on hospitality management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams through training & development initiatives
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, food safety management, and food handling best practices
• Experience with Toast POS system or other similar systems; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor
• Ability to supervise multiple responsibilities including shift management, inventory control, training and coaching staff members
• Familiarity with managing hospitality teams in diverse settings such as dining, banquet events, catering services, or takeout orders
• Strong organizational skills for managing food production schedules, food safety compliance, and profit & loss analysis
