Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items like wines, specialty cocktails, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments accurately, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary restrictions with confidence and professionalism
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with fine dining or nightclub service enhances your ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality are essential
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures quality service
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving and upselling
- Basic math proficiency for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
