Electrician
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential electrical work, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed. This position requires a motivated individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively with a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Install wiring, conduit, lighting, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
- Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members.
- Travel to job sites as required, including occasional overnight travel if needed.
- Complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an electrician is required.
- Experience with both commercial and residential electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to travel for projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in various environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman or residential or commercial wireman license (preferred but not required, depending on experience).
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Experience operating lifts and other job-site equipment.

Schedule
