ABA Paraprofessional - LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE
Position to start immediately and go through mid-October.
Johnny Appleseed Elementary School is seeking an ABA paraprofessional to assist the students in the classroom with all instructional materials as determined by the assigned teacher and help the students with needs outside of the classroom but related to achieving needed skills and requirements for succeeding in school.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the teacher, the ABA Paraprofessional shall:
- Assist the students with all academic, social/emotional and behavioral tasks as assigned by the teacher/BCBA
- Collaborate with Special Education Teachers, BCBA and other school personnel
- Assist the students with the preparation of all materials and books
- Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, and effective work ethic
- Participate in appropriate workshop programs and attend any required meetings.
- Display ethical behavior in working with students, and other school personnel
Associates degree or higher.
Full-time, school year position.
Salary commensurate with related experience.
