Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe changes in health status to report to healthcare professionals
- Following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Support mobility using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, medication administration, and patient progress in accordance with home health standards
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, or senior care preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and patient transfers using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts
- Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
