Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role located in Orlando, FL. The Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care to animals, including preventive care, diagnostic services, treatments, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities will include conducting wellness exams, diagnosing health issues, prescribing treatments, and educating pet owners about proper pet care and health management. The Veterinarian will collaborate with facility staff to ensure excellent patient care and build strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform diagnostics and treatments, including conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab results, and formulating medical plans
- Proficiency in surgical procedures, wound care, and anesthesia
- Strong skills in communicating with pet owners to educate them on pet health, proper care, and treatment options
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and comply with ethical standards
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) and a valid veterinary license in the state of Florida
- Strong organizational abilities and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Dedication to compassionate care and a client-focused approach
- Experience in small animal care is preferred but not required
