What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant II position at John White, DDS?
Qualified candidates should have education/training as a Dental Assistant II as specified by the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners.
We are seeking highly motivated, self-starters with excellent communication skills and positive attitude. We desire dedicated team players who are looking for a successful long-term career with our office. Duties include setting up treatment rooms, assisting the doctor during treatment using 4-handed dentistry techniques, and cleaning and disinfecting treatment areas after treatment. Dental Assistants are responsible for ordering supplies, stocking treatment areas, and processing and storing of instruments. Our office practices Comprehensive Dentistry, general dentistry procedures, as well as endodontics, and oral surgery, including I.V. sedation dentistry. Experience with sedation is a plus, but is not required. Workdays are Tuesday through Friday, with Monday off. Our office is conveniently located in South Asheville.
