General Description of the position:
To assist the Extended Day Supervisor in providing before and/or after school child care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Eighteen (18) years of age.
- Satisfactorily perform the requirements of the position.
- Emotional and physical stamina to perform duties as required by the designated task except for temporary disability.
- Ability to deal effectively with student discipline and behavior issues.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with children and parents.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with other child care staff.
- Ability to apply correct punctuation, spelling, mathematics and use of English.
Essential Functions:
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks for the Extended Day program including typing, filing, photocopying, and correcting papers.
- Supervise students during Extended Day.
- Assist in room set-up.
- Maintain a neat and safe environment.
- Perform other tasks as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $20 - $28
