Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly,
dependable, and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Dining Rom
Server. This position plays a key role in creating a warm and enjoyable dining
experience for our residents. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism,
compassion, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A
passion for working with seniors is essential.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Greet residents warmly and ensure an exceptional
dining experience
- Take meal orders and serve food and beverages
promptly and courteously
- Deliver meals to resident apartments as needed
- Clear, clean, and reset tables following meals
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining room and service
areas, including vacuuming and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow all food handling and sanitation standards
- Communicate menu offerings and answer questions
about food ingredients or preparation methods
- Complete assigned opening, running, and closing
duties
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by the
Culinary Director
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Serving experience preferred
- Successful completion of background check, drug
screening, physical exam, and TB test
- Friendly demeanor with strong communication and
customer service skills
- Ability to work with patience, empathy, and
professionalism
- Willingness to learn food safety and sanitation
procedures
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, and
balance with proper body mechanics
