JTI-Service Technician- Full-time

Job Duties:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance including fluids, grease, and electrical systems.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repair quotes when necessary
• Resolve service problems by clarifying the issue; determining the cause of the problem; explaining the solution, and visiting the jobsite if necessary to correct the problem; following up to ensure resolution
• Document service, deployment and removal of equipment by completing Salesforce reporting and BOL's.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability, cleanliness, organization and functioning of required items and ensuring safety
• Establish a good rapport with customers
• Ensure all parts meet specifications and quality requirements. Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Train customers on the basic operation of equipment
• Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Driver's License and driving record in good standing.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to work well with others in a TEAM environment
• Basic math skills
• Flexible schedule with the ability to travel overnight 75% of the time.
