Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at John Swett Unified. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Director of Special Education, assisting in the planning and implementation of programs for students with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Develop caring relationships with students and support their social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Operate office equipment safely and efficiently.
- Compile and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of student-related experience preferred.
- Possession of a passing score on the District competency test.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, see, hear, and communicate effectively.
- Physical stamina to lift 25 pounds, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, run, and crawl as needed.
