About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mailroom, Shipping & Videojet Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, preparing shipments, operating forklifts, delivering/picking up from Clients and Suppliers, and operating Videojet coding equipment to ensure accurate product marking and labeling. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Forklift operation and delivery driving - Driver’s license required.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments (UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight, etc.)
- Generate shipping labels and maintain accurate shipment records
- Operate and maintain Videojet coding/marking equipment for product labeling
- Perform quality checks to ensure accurate codes and print clarity
- Maintain inventory of shipping and mailroom supplies
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet shipping deadlines
- Keep mailroom and shipping areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a mailroom, warehouse, or shipping role preferred
- Experience operating Videojet or similar inkjet coding equipment is a plus
- Basic computer skills (email, shipping software, data entry)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
