Job Responsibilities:
- Interface with customers on electronic data management of ISF filings and Customs entries
- Prepare and manage international documentation, ensuring compliance with HTS, OGA, and Customs regulations
- Track inbound shipments, identify delays/discrepancies, and communicate status to importers
- Coordinate deliveries with importers, issue delivery orders, and dispatch to truckers
- Process daily Duty Statement/ACH payments, including packet preparation and system authorization
- Perform general office tasks: phone support, data entry, faxing, scanning, and document processing
- Maintain organized records to ensure consistency and accuracy in entry processing
- Refer complex classification or regulatory questions to supervisor for review
- Generate and process billing invoices
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- Import logistics experience required
- Experience in Air Freight preferred, however Ocean Freight experience is also accepted
- Experience in international shipping logistics required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with International Customs, ISF entry, etc. required
- Familiarity with ABI, FDA systems, and import documentation is beneficial
- Excellent math skills and ability to calculate duty rates, entered values, and exchange rates
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
