Job description:
Downtown Denver civil trial firm seeks an associate-attorney with 2-5 years’ experience. With several trials fast approaching, the candidate should be eager and willing to attend trial as second-chair trial attorney to assist the lead attorney. The candidate should be licensed to practice in Colorado and have a strong interest in civil trial work. The candidate must have superior attention to detail, legal research and writing abilities, and communication skills. The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to multi-task in a civil trial focused firm. Candidate must be punctual and willing to work in a professional environment on a daily basis. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
- Prepare for and complete depositions.
- Prepare for and complete civil jury trials.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence with precision, ensuring clarity and adherence to legal standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case developments.
- Assist in litigation strategy development and participate in negotiations, focusing on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal procedures.
