John Paul II Catholic School Ridgeland, South Carolina Position: Advanced High School Math Teacher (including AP Courses) John Paul II Catholic School (JPII) — a vibrant, faith-filled community located in the heart of the Lowcountry — is immediately seeking a dedicated and innovative Advanced High School Math Teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire students through a love of mathematics, excellence in instruction, and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Position Overview The successful candidate will teach upper-level high school math courses, including Advanced Placement (AP) offerings such as Calculus, Statistics, and/or other advanced courses, depending on expertise. The teacher will work collaboratively within a dynamic faculty to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of mathematical concepts in a supportive and Christ-centered environment. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required) • Advanced degree or AP certification preferred • Prior experience teaching high school or AP-level math courses strongly preferred • Commitment to the philosophy and mission of Catholic education • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Compensation Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
