Salary: $20-$30/Hour Commission John Owens Services is hiring an experienced Outside B2B Sales Representative to drive growth in our commercial market across Marin and Sonoma counties. Weve served the North Bay since 1986 and operate from Petaluma, centrally located to support fast response and strong field operations.This role is built for a hunter who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and consistently growing revenue. Youll focus on creating and expanding commercial accounts for water heaters, boilers, and HVAC-related (if experienced) service/replacement in environments like restaurants, drive-thrus, retail shops, small commercial facilities, and property-based businesses.What success looks like:Growing monthly revenue through new account acquisition and expansion of existing accountsBuilding a reliable pipeline of commercial opportunities (service agreements, replacements, upgrades)Increasing close rates through strong discovery, clear proposals, and consistent follow-upImproving efficiency by qualifying the right opportunities and coordinating smoothly with operationsBecoming a trusted partner to decision-makers (owners, managers, facilities teams, GMs, property managers)Key responsibilities:Prospect and develop new commercial relationships throughvisits, networking, calls, and follow-upIdentify opportunities for water heater replacement, boiler service/replacement and preventative maintenancePresent solutions clearly and professionally; manage the full sales cycle from lead to closeMaintain CRM activity, track pipeline, and report on results (calls/visits, quotes, close rate, revenue)Strengthen long-term partnerships by ensuring a high-quality customer experience after the saleWhat were looking for:Proven success in outside B2B sales (service trades strongly preferred: plumbing/HVAC)Comfortable selling in commercial settings and speaking with owners, managers, and facility decision-makersStrong understanding of value-based selling (not just price) and ability to communicate urgency and ROIOrganized, self-motivated, and consistent with follow-up and pipeline managementWillingness to be in the field daily
