Job Description:
Provides spiritual support to patients, families and staff on assigned units through the John Muir Health system. The Chaplain Resident fulfills the ACPE accredited program requirements.
Education:
- Master's Degree Theological Studies - Preferred
- College Level Coursework CPE - Clinical Pastoral Education - One (1) unit - Preferred
Experience:
- 1 year Healthcare - Spiritual Care - Preferred and/or
- Healthcare - Chaplaincy - Preferred
Additional Experience Requirements:
- Experience in Hospital ministry - Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
- Ordination in Recognized Faith Group - Preferred and/or
- Faith Group Endorsement - Preferred
Skills:
- Sensitivity to diverse religious and cultural practices and values.
- Maintains professional and personal integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
- Basic Pastoral Skills.
- Demonstrates empath y and compassion. Reflects theologically.
Work Shift:
08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$23.00 - $23.00
Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
