We are looking for a dedicated New Home Warranty Coordinator to serve as the vital first point of contact for our homeowners, ensuring their transition into their new home is seamless and supported.
The Role
Are you a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? As a New Home Warranty Coordinator, you will manage the communication pipeline between homeowners, community representatives, and trade partners. Your goal is to provide clear information, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain the high level of trust JMC Homes is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for home warranty inquiries via phone and email.
- Manage high-volume inbound communication, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Educate homeowners on warranty policies and relay coverage decisions clearly.
- Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with homeowners.
Workflow Management
- Process and dispatch service requests to the appropriate community representatives and trade partners.
- Maintain, track, and distribute up-to-date contractor/trade partner lists.
- Oversee the completion of service requests, ensuring all work meets JMC quality standards before final approval.
- Manage a personal workload of service requests from initiation to resolution.
Documentation & Field Support
- Maintain meticulous notes and records of all work requests and resolutions within our CRM.
- Schedule repairs with qualified contractors and verify timely completion.
- Conduct occasional on-site inspections of homeowner concerns if requested (rare; mileage is reimbursed).
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in customer care or home warranty services is preferred.
- Availability: Must be able to work onsite Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Attributes: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
- Requirements: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
