Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics to identify system faults.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to execute precise repairs or installations.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems efficiently by applying mechanical knowledge and utilizing hand tools, welding equipment, and specialized diagnostic devices.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency.
- Service building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, plumbing components, and property maintenance tasks as needed.
- Conduct field service visits for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance while providing excellent customer service with clear communication and professionalism.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC system repair and installation.
- Service technician experience with hands-on work in HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, welding, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively; experience with electrical systems and building automation systems is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with
driver requirements is advantageous. - Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance and problem-solving.
