Pay Per Visit Occupational Therapist
John Knox Village is seeking a Pay Per Visit Occupational Therapist to provide therapy sessions to patients who need restoration of physical and mental functioning in order to gain independence in the home as prescribed by an overseeing physician. This is a rewarding and dynamic position for a caring and compassionate individual who is dependable and reliable.
As a Occupational Therapist at John Knox Village you will be responsible to plan, asses and improve your patients care plan under the supervision and feedback of physicians, family members and care staff. You will help them cope with their medical conditions and work with them to help them regain independence. You will also help them progress by ensuring that their living environment is ideal for their current medical situation and changes don't need to be implemented. You will be responsible for overseeing and directing the Occupational Therapy Assistant, so communication and attention to detail is very important for this position.
We would like to speak to those who are registered, certified or licensed in the state of Florida for Occupational Therapy and have at least 1 year experience working in a clinical environment. In addition, someone who has good communication skills as well as someone who is organized and good at record keeping. You must have access to reliable transportation.
